PROGRAMME INFORMATION
 
 
 
 
The leading program of its kind in Ireland, the Dublin International Piano Festival & Summer Academy attracts students and audiences from all over the world to Dublin for a nine-day festival full of lessons, masterclasses & performances. The program offers an intensive educational experience for advanced piano students as well as an exciting concert series open to the public. The Summer Academy gives young pianists a unique opportunity to explore the possibilities of a career as a pianist, to work with world-class faculty & to push themselves to excel in piano performance and technique, all while enjoying everything Dublin city has to offer. 

18 participants will spend 9 days in daily practice sessions, lessons & masterclasses with our esteemed faculty, seminars on topics such as performance psychology from experts in the field & exceptional concerts in some of Dublin’s most famous venues, all culminating in a final performance at the historical Hugh Lane Gallery in Dublin. In the evenings students are encouraged to explore the rich heritage and exciting nightlife of the city!

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
WHO SHOULD APPLY?
 
 
 
 
DIPF is looking for advanced pianists of all ages who: 
  1. wish to further their musicianship and take their playing to the next level
  2. are looking to immerse themselves in the world of piano
  3. are interested in networking with other pianists, both professional and amateur
  4. are preparing for competitions or auditions and seek performance opportunities as well as new insights into their playing from world-class teachers
  5. want to explore Irish culture with other like-minded pianists!
