 Meisterkurs für Dirigenten Graz 2017

Mozart "Haffner" y Schubert "Grosse-C-Dur-Sinfonie"
En Zusammenarbeit mit der Kammerphilarmonie Graz

From 21 till 25 August I will be giving, for the 11th consecutive year, our popular annual summer conducting masterclass with Kammerphilharmonie Graz, the only course of its kind with a professional Austrian orchestra.

Participants will have the unique opportunity to conduct one of Central Europe’s leading chamber orchestras and immerse themselves in the breath-taking scenery of Baroque architecture and inspiring landscape of Austria's second largest city. This year we are going to work on important symphonies by Austria's two most famous composers Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Franz Schubert.
All participants will conduct the orchestra at the final concert, which will also be a competition, at one of Graz's most beautiful venues.

The tuition focus will be on conducting technique and performance practice, personal coaching sessions will be tailored to the participants’ individual requirements.

The city centre of Graz is a UNESCO Cultural World Heritage site and offers a great variety of high quality restaurants and cafes.
The surroundings are famous for their beauty and the South of Styria is considered to be one of the world’s best wine-growing regions.
