Queda abierto el período de inscripción para las
Pruebas de Selección y Convocatoria de Becas para el curso 2015-2016 de
la Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía en sus distintas cátedras de
instrumento. Las Audiciones se desarrollarán entre el 6 y 29 de abril de
2015. La fecha límite de inscripción finaliza el 13 de febrero de 2015.

La Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía es una institución cuyo objetivo es formar intérpretes de excelencia y ofrece a sus alumnos todos los medios necesarios para alcanzar una alta especialización musical. Este tipo de formación requiere un tratamiento personalizado que la Escuela hace posible mediante planes de estudio individualizados, que garantizan a cada alumno la recepción de las enseñanzas que precisa, y a través de las enseñanzas de profesores -todos ellos eminentes intérpretes y pedagogos- que ejercen su magisterio bajo el principio de la libertad de cátedra.
El diseño académico-artístico que ofrece la Escuela contribuye a proporcionar a los alumnos una formación completa en su instrumento, en música de cámara y orquesta (sinfónica, de cámara, camerata y sinfonietta – en música contemporánea-). Estas disciplinas se completan con enseñanzas académicas que permiten inscribir la música en su contexto histórico e ideológico y relacionarla con otras manifestaciones artísticas y culturales. Asimismo, la Escuela Reina Sofía entiende el proceso formativo como íntimamente ligado a la actividad artística. Con este objetivo, organiza más de trescientos conciertos anuales en todas sus posibles formas (recitales, música de cámara, conciertos de orquesta y otras formaciones instrumentales) en los que intervienen los alumnos que, según criterio de sus profesores, están preparados para presentarse ante el público.
Las becas son financiadas por la Fundación Albéniz y diferentes instituciones públicas y privadas. Su concesión es competencia de la Comisión de Ayudas para la Formación y Desarrollo Artístico de la Fundación Albéniz, compuesta por representantes de ésta, de la Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía y de los mecenas.
El perfil del alumno de la Escuela Reina Sofía responde a estudiantes de música con un gran talento y altamente comprometidos con la exigencia que los estudios de este centro de alta formación profesional demandan. Para el curso 2013-2014 se presentaron más de 200 candidatos y finalmente cursaron sus estudios 106 alumnos procedentes de 28 países.

The enrollment period is open for Testing Selection and Call for Grants for the 2015-2016 course of the Queen Sofía College of Music in its various departments of the instrument. The Queen Sofía College of Music is an institution which aims to train interpreters of excellence and offers students all necessary means to achieve high musical expertise. This type of training requires a personalized treatment that the school made possible through individualized study plans, ensuring each student receiving the teachings accurate, and through the teaching of teachers-all eminent interpreters and pedagogos- exercising their teachers under the principle of academic freedom.
The academic and artistic design featuring the school contributes to provide students with comprehensive training in your instrument, in chamber music and orchestra (symphonic, chamber, and Camerata sinfonietta - in contemporánea- music). These disciplines are complemented by academic teachings that allow enroll music in its historical and ideological context and relate it to other artistic and cultural events. Also, the Reina Sofía School understands the training process as closely linked to artistic activity. To this end, organizes over three hundred annual concerts in all possible ways (recitals, chamber music, orchestral concerts and other instrumental groups) in which students, as assessed by their teachers involved are prepared to appear before the public.
The scholarships are funded by the Albéniz Foundation and various public and private institutions. His concession is the responsibility of the Commission for Aid for Training and Artistic Development of the Albéniz Foundation, composed of representatives of the latter, the Queen Sofía College of Music and patrons.
