Composition for Screen at the Paris Conservatoire Registration for Entrance Auditions now Open!
This highly selective tuition-free advanced one-year course, taught in French, provides participants an extraordinary range of skills geared to training top-level professionals:• In partnership with the French National Centre for Cinema (CNC) and the Fémis (French National School for the Film and Sound Professions);
• Geared to the demands of the profession: collaborations between film producers and composers;
• Comprehensive training includes film realisations, editing, sound mixing, realisation of models, and composition.
Candidates should :
• Be students or graduates of institutions of higher education;
• Provide a comprehensive dossier of personal projects demonstrating experience in arrangement or composition, jazz, and new technologies.
On-line registration for entrance auditions to the Composition for Screen course at the Paris Conservatoire are open through June 30 at www.conservatoiredeparis.fr
Pre-selection : September 1, 2014
Candidates’ dossier to include
• C.V.
• Written works (scores) and/or sound documents, eventually including audio or video samples;
• Letter of motivation
Qualified Candidates will be invited for a 2nd and final round on September 5, 2014.
